QR code generator
Make a QR code for a link, text, Wi-Fi network, email or phone number, and download it as PNG or SVG.
How it works
The content is encoded in your browser with the open-source qrcode-generator library: the smallest QR version that fits the data at the chosen error correction is used. Wi-Fi codes use the standard WIFI:T:WPA;S:name;P:password;; format, emails mailto: and phones tel:.
Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The content is stored in the code itself, not on a server, so the code works forever and nobody tracks the scans. To change the link later you need a new code.
Which error correction should I choose?
M (15%) is a good default. Use Q or H if the code will be printed small, on a rough surface, or with a logo placed over its middle.
How does a Wi-Fi QR code work?
Phones that scan it offer to join the network directly. It holds the network name, the password and the security type as plain text, so share it only with people you would tell the password to.
