Frequently asked questions

Which grading scale is used?

The common US scale: A 90–100%, B 80–89%, C 70–79%, D 60–69%, F below 60%, with + and − in the top and bottom three points of each band. Your school may use other cut-offs.

Can I enter wrong answers instead of points?

Yes. Switch to “wrong answers”: the score is the number of questions minus the wrong ones.

What is the grading table?

It lists the percentage and letter for every possible number of wrong answers, handy for teachers marking a whole class.
