Time zone converter
Pick a date, a time and a time zone to see the same moment in other cities and zones.
Zones use IANA names like Europe/Paris; the list suggests them as you type in the zone box.
How it works
The date and time you enter are read as local time in the chosen zone and turned into one exact moment. That moment is then written out in every other zone with Intl.DateTimeFormat, which applies each zone’s offset and daylight saving rules for that date.
Worked example
- 15:00 in Europe/Warsaw on 1 July (CEST, UTC+2)
- = 13:00 UTC
- = 09:00 in New York (EDT, UTC−4)
Frequently asked questions
Is daylight saving time included?
Yes. The conversion uses your browser’s time zone database (IANA), which knows each zone’s daylight saving rules and their history for the date you pick.
How do I plan a meeting across time zones?
Set the time in your own zone and add the cities of everyone invited. The list shows each local time and the day, so you can spot when it is the middle of the night for someone.
What is UTC?
Coordinated Universal Time, the reference all time zones are measured from. It has no daylight saving time, which makes it good for logs and servers.
